Legal Notices

The City Council voted 5-0 on June 10, 2024 to designate the city's website as it's official city newspaper for the purposes of publishing legal notices not specifically requiring a newspaper of general circulation. For publications requiring a newspaper of general circulation, the City will continue to use the Hillsboro Star-Journal. Any actions requiring notification to be provided to adjoining property owners, citizens or other specific groups will continued to be mailed as required by city code or state statute. Full copies of the official city record of any notice, resolution, ordinance or action of the city are available at City Hall during business hours as they have always been. Legal notices will be posted on the city's website which can be accessed on the main home page by clicking on the Legal Notices button.
